Silver Sands Hotel & Resort

Last minute stay and reservation for sxs dune riding. Called for a few recs and lady I spoke to was very helpful and friendly. I was looking for a clean, simple room with a lake view for a one night stay with my husband, and this was just that...THANK YOU! Customer service at check-in and out was great. Really appreciated the text and email communications. So enjoyed the morning sunrise at the dock and beach, too! We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay for a one night getaway. We stayed in one of the cabins. It had everything we needed and the decorations were fun! We loved the view from our cabin and the service was above and beyond! We texted after 9 p.m. to get a second bundle of wood and another one was brought out to us so we could enjoy more time with our bonfire. The text updates were full of details and easy to understand. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing place! This is our second year here, and are booking again for next year! The rooms are so clean! We love the beds, very comfortable! The retro feelings of this hotel are so cozy! The staff/ owners are so kind and helpful. And the close proximity to the dunes and downtown make it the perfect place to stay! Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at Silver Sands Hotel and Resort. The room was clean and well maintained, which made for a very comfortable visit. Communication with the owners was excellent — they were responsive, friendly, and went out of their way to be accommodating. Plenty of parking for trailers. Everything felt easy and welcoming from start to finish. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the location, the ease of check in and out, loved the access to lower level with the 2 access doors via parking lot side and pool side, it was very enjoyable and clean, easy parking for pontoon and trailer. Night stand(s) in bedroom would be nice, this is picky but a potato peeler would be a nice addition to kitchen supplies . We will definitely return and would recommend. We didn’t use pool but it was very warm when I checked the water temp and clean. Didn’t use outdoor grills but they were right outside room and other guests were using for even breakfast.

Our one night stay at Silver Sands was wonderful. We felt very safe, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. It felt like an old school resort town hotel with a beach, pool, little playground and sandbox. Our kids were happy to find extra floaties and toys to use at the pool as well. We also loved the room set up with a bed on each side with a bathroom in the middle. It gave a great separation for my husband and I away from the kids to watch TV and relax while they slept.

Relaxing in the pool after a long day on the dunes? Yes please! The building and rooms are a little older, but they are very clean and comfortable. The picnic tables outside of our room were great for ordering takeout dinner while our kids played in the pool. This is also the perfect location to walk to almost anything. You can eat at the chicken shack, go to the gift shop, get ice cream, or ride the rides at Craig’s cruisers… All less than a quarter mile away. Definitely will stay again!

My family’s first trip to silver lake was amazing but this hotel was the icing on the cake for us. We stayed a total of three nights and the last one being a last minute decision. The owners were amazing at accommodations for the extra night and the entire property was incredibly clean. The pool was heated perfectly and the outdoor grills were great. Everyone was respectful and we will absolutely be back!
